Agli MTV VMAs 2026 trionfa Madonna: ecco tutti i vincitori

Gli MTV VMAs 2026 hanno conquistato la città di Los Angeles nella notte di domenica (27 settembre), riunendo al Peacock Theater alcune delle più grandi star della musica, accorse per scoprire chi avrebbe portato a casa una Moon Person (o addirittura sette iconiche statuette). Madonna è stata la grande vincitrice della serata, aggiudicandosi in totale sette premi, tra cui tre vittorie annunciate sul palco: artista dell’anno, miglior brano dance (per il suo cortometraggio Confessions II) e miglior collaborazione riferita al brano Bring Your Love con Sabrina Carpenter. I più premiati, dopo la popstar statunitense, sono stati i BTS che hanno vinto Song of the Year per SWIM, Best K-pop e Best Group.

Protagonista dei Video Music Awards è stata (anche quest’anno) Taylor Swift, che ha ricevuto il primo Artist Director Honors, prima di presentare in anteprima il suo ultimo video musicale – diretto da lei stessa – per il brano Patient Zero contenuto nella versione deluxe dell’album The Life of a Showgirl (Encore). La cantautrice è salita e scesa dal palco per tutta la serata per ritirare i premi e dopo una dedica per la vittoria a Dolly Parton – definita dalla stessa Swift come la «showgirl più iconica di tutti i tempi» – la cantautrice vanta anche la statuetta per il video dell’anno per The Fate of Ophelia.  Non finisce qui. La cantante della Pennsylvania ha inoltre vinto il premio per la miglior regia con Opalite.

I premi degli MTV VMAs 2026

LISA, che si è esibita con l’esplosiva SaWaDiKa, si è aggiudicata il primo premio della serata, vincendo nella categoria miglior artista pop per Dream, realizzata insieme a Kentaro Sakaguchi, mentre Sienna Spiro è stata nominata miglior artista emergente, dopo il voto dei fan che si è svolto durante la trasmissione. Olivia Rodrigo ha invece vinto nella categoria alternative per the cure.

Madonna è arrivata ai VMAs come l’artista con il maggior numero di nomination della serata, ben 13, e ha anche aperto la serata condotta da Snoop Dogg. Invece, Taylor Swift (che ha vinto un record di 30 Moon Person) era seconda in classifica con 11 candidature. Tra gli altri principali artisti in lizza figuravano Sabrina Carpenter (nove nomination), Ariana Grande (otto), Bruno Mars (sei) e PinkPantheress e Zara Larsson (cinque ciascuna).

Durante la notte degli MTV VMAs 2026 non sono nemmeno mancate le presenze (e in alcuni casi anche le esibizioni) di Kacey Musgraves, che ha reso omaggio a Dolly Parton, RAYE, SOMBR e Teddy Swims, che hanno celebrato George Michael e i Nirvana, ai quali è stato assegnato il Video Vanguard Award.
