Building an Independent Music Career

Finding the right record label became one of Habebe’s early challenges. He responded by launching his own label and learning the release process from the inside. Production, branding, scheduling, promotion, audience development, and label operations now sit within the same independent plan.

His earlier marketing work connected him with projects involving established artists. According to Yalla Habebe, the first-month streaming total was above 300,000. Habebe continues to play shows while releasing new music and developing the label around him.
