Tutti i vincitori degli MTV VMAs 2025

Ieri sera alla UBS Arena di New York sono andati in scena gli MTV VMAs 2025. Alla vigilia dell’evento, Lady Gaga — che aveva già collezionato 18 vittorie ai VMAs nella sua carriera — guidava le nomination con ben 12 candidature. Alla fine, è stata la grande vincitrice della serata, portandosi a casa i premi per artista dell’anno, miglior direzione artistica, miglior regia e miglior collaborazione per Die With a Smile insieme a Bruno Mars. Anche Ariana Grande è stata una delle protagoniste della serata, vincendo tre premi, tra cui video dell’anno e miglior video long-form per Brighter Days Ahead, oltre a miglior artista pop.

Sabrina Carpenter ha conquistato anch’essa tre statuette: miglior artista pop, album dell’anno per Short n’ Sweet e migliori effetti visivi per il brano Manchild. ROSÉ, come Gaga, ha trionfato con una collaborazione con Bruno Mars, vincendo il premio per canzone dell’anno grazie alla hit della Billboard Hot 100 APT., che ha raggiunto il numero 3 in classifica. Anche la sua compagna delle BLACKPINK, LISA, è stata premiata, vincendo il riconoscimento come miglior K-pop per Born Again con Doja Cat e RAYE.

Tra i premi onorari al di fuori delle categorie in gara agli MTV VMAs 2025, Mariah Carey è stata celebrata con il prestigioso Video Vanguard Award. La leggendaria cantante si è esibita con un medley dei suoi più grandi successi. Un altro grande onore è andato a Ricky Martin, che ha ricevuto il primo Latin Icon Award dei VMAs, dopo aver eseguito anche lui un medley delle sue hit. Busta Rhymes è stato infine premiato con il Rock the Bells Visionary Award e, come gli altri, ha offerto al pubblico un medley dei brani più rappresentativi della sua carriera.
