Marco Mengoni Is the Winner of Sanremo 2023

The singer was considered the favorite since the beginning of the contest. He triumphed over Lazza, Mr.Rain, Ultimo, and Tananai. He dedicated the award to all the women who participated this year

Marco Mengoni is the winner of Sanremo 2023, the 73rd edition of the Festival. He was considered the favorite of this year’s edition since the very beginning of the contest. He triumphed over Lazza, Mr.Rain, Ultimo, and Tananai.

The final five contestants were voted by all the juries: accredited press, surveyed jury, and the general public.

All of them were male artists. So, Marco Mengoni wanted to express a special thought. «I would like to dedicate this prize to all the women who participated this year and brought wonderful songs on stage», he said when he received the award.

His victory is not surprising. Mengoni had dominated every single partial ranking each night since the beginning of Sanremo 2023 with his song Due Vite.
