Santi Francesi Are the Winners of The X Factor Italy 2022

They were perceived as possible winners since the very beginning of this edition, and now it is official. Santi Francesi are the winners of The X Factor Italy 2022. The grand final took place yesterday night (Thursday, December 8th) at Mediolanum Forum in Milan. Beatrice Quinta ranked second, followed by Linda and Tropea.
The night was filled with music and special guests, starting with the opening show by Meduza. Then the four finalists sang duets with the host Francesca Michielin, who quickly jumped from one stage to another to perform with the artists. Between the first and the second part of the show, Pinguini Tattici Nucleari took the stage. There was no elimination mid-show: all the finalists had the opportunity to perform until the end.
Even the four judges of The X Factor Italy had room to perform. As a sneak peek, Fedez sang his new single Crisi di Stato, released at midnight on streaming platforms. Ambra Angiolini sang her 90s hit T’appartengo, complete with a choreography of dancers. Rkomi and Dargen D’Amico sang medleys of their own hits: the first with Mare Che Non Sei, Vuoi una Mano, Insuperabile; the latter with Patatine, Ubriaco di Te, Dove Si Balla.
Rumors of a possible interruption of the show had been circulating for a while. But Francesca Michielin shut them down when she announced the opening of casting for the next edition of The X Factor Italy.
