Italian Rap Group Colle der Fomento Starts Tour in Amsterdam
The historic trio from Rome will also open the Italian date of Cypress Hill in August
Historic Italian rap group Colle der Fomento will start their “Solo Amore Tour” in Amsterdam. The trio from Rome will play tomorrow (May 19) at Akhnaton.
The tour, which is titled after their official biography, published last year, will travel through the thirty-year career of Colle der Fomento. Masito, Danno and DJ Baro will present a setlist representing the best of their four studio albums “Odio Pieno”, “Scienza Doppia H”, “Anima e Ghiaccio”, and “Adversus”.
Among the new aspects of this tour, Colle der Fomento will be accompanied by backing band Dumbo Station in most dates. Benjamin Ventura (keyboards), Paolo Zou (guitar), Stefano Rossi (bass) and Davide Savarese (drums) will play with them, complete with new arrangements of the songs.
The tour will see Colle der Fomento joined by friends and colleagues such as Otierre, Kaos and DJ Craim. Also, they will open Cypress Hill’s concert at AMA Music Festival (Aug. 24).
